Mike Krzyzewski, a native of Chicago, IL.,
has been one of the most dominant college
coaches over the past two decades. Mike Krzyzewski has
led Duke to three NCAA National Championships
(1991, 1992, 2001) and to ten Final Fours.
His three championships tie him third all-time
with Bob Knight behind John Wooden
and Adolph Rupp , all of whom are members
of the Basketball Hall of Fame. In over
20 years at Duke, Mike Krzyzewski has compiled
more than 600 career wins and is the winningest
coach in NCAA Tournament history play with
66 wins. With ten Final Four appearances,
Mike Krzyzewski ranks third all-time in
most Final Four appearances behind Wooden
and Smith.
